1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

Use of the website or submission of an enquiry form constitutes acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or contact us for services.

3. Service Description

Suvarna Legal provides legal services in the field of Thai inheritance and succession law. Our services are available to individuals and families with estate matters connected to Thailand. We do not currently offer general litigation, corporate, or family law services.

Services are provided primarily in Bangkok, Thailand. We assist clients in other locations where the matter involves Thai assets or Thai law.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, structure, and design — is the intellectual property of Suvarna Legal. Written materials produced in the course of an engagement are provided for the personal use of the client and may not be reproduced, published, or distributed without our prior written consent.

Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use our name, logo, or materials beyond what is necessary to receive our services.

6. Fees and Payment

Our published service fees are:

Fees are denominated in Thai Baht. Court fees, government charges, and disbursements are not included in the above and will be confirmed separately. Payment terms are set out in the written engagement letter. We accept bank transfer and cash at our office. Fees are non-refundable once work has commenced unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Service Delivery and Scope

The scope of each service is confirmed in writing before work begins. Any material change to scope requested by the client will be discussed and, where necessary, subject to a revised fee arrangement agreed in advance.

We will communicate updates at meaningful stages of each matter. Timelines provided are estimates based on typical processes; we cannot be responsible for delays caused by courts, government offices, or third parties beyond our control.

Legal advice provided is specific to your matter and the law as it stands at the time of the advice. We are not responsible for changes in law after advice has been given.

8. Confidentiality

We treat all information shared with us in the context of a legal engagement as strictly confidential. We will not disclose client information to third parties except where required to carry out the agreed service, where required by law, or with the client's express consent.

9. Disclaimers

The information on this website is provided for general awareness only and does not constitute legal advice. Legal advice is only provided as part of a formal engagement. We do not make representations about outcomes. Every matter depends on the specific facts and applicable law at the time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you in connection with any matter shall not exceed the fee paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of business, loss of earnings, or court costs beyond our control.

Nothing in this clause limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Suvarna Legal harmless from claims, costs, or losses arising from your breach of these Terms, inaccurate information provided to us, or your unlawful conduct.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice. If we terminate due to a material breach by you, no refund of fees paid will be provided. If you terminate, fees for work already completed will be payable. Provisions relating to confidentiality, IP, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes shall first be referred to informal discussion between the parties. If not resolved within thirty days, disputes may be referred to mediation before the Thai Mediation Centre or submitted to the competent courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

14. General Provisions

These Terms, together with any written engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between the parties. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be severed and the remainder will continue in force. A failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of it. We may not assign our obligations without your consent; you may not assign your rights without our consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify existing clients of material changes by email. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance.
