During a planning review, we sit with you to understand your assets, any existing documents (wills, powers of attorney, property titles), and your intentions. We then explain how Thai succession law applies to your situation, identify anything that may need attention, and provide a written summary you can refer to or share with family members later.

Straightforward cases can often be completed within four to eight weeks, depending on the responsiveness of the relevant courts and offices. Where the estate involves multiple properties or overseas assets, additional time may be needed. We will give you a realistic timeline at the outset and keep you updated throughout.

Contested estates are handled with care for both the legal position and the family relationships involved. We first assess the strength of each position, then explore whether a negotiated resolution is feasible. Where formal proceedings are necessary, we represent the client's interests clearly and honestly through each stage, keeping them informed about likely outcomes and the time involved.

Yes. We regularly assist foreign nationals and expatriate families with estates that involve Thai assets — including condominiums, bank accounts, and business interests. We work in English throughout and can explain how Thai law interacts with the laws of the deceased's home country where relevant.

It is helpful to bring identification, any existing will or estate documents, property titles or account statements if available, and a list of the assets and debts involved. Each service has a stated fee (Estate Planning Review ฿4,500; Documentation & Filing ฿9,400; Contested Representation ฿18,000). For contested matters, additional costs may arise depending on the scope of proceedings; these are discussed openly before any further commitment. Payment arrangements are confirmed at the start of each engagement.
